Birdify is a native macOS application that supports local processing paths for selected voice workflows such as reading, dictation, transcription, cloning, and production. Inference is intended to run in the app and its engine process on your Mac.

What this draft does not claim

Until release verification is complete, this policy does not claim fully offline operation, zero network egress, the absence of all telemetry on every release path, or specific crash-reporting behavior.

Permissions

Birdify may request macOS permissions such as microphone access, accessibility, and screen recording when you use features that need them. Permission prompts and usage descriptions will match the shipping app.
